Why Purchase a Custom Calendar?

1. Advertise YOUR race. Use a custom picture on all 12 Months showing and telling the story of your Marathon.
2. Entice runners to sign up for the race. Print information on the Calendars with contact names, phone numbers, email addresses, websites and HOW TO SIGN UP FOR THE RACE.
3. Pass out some Calendars to your Sponsors as a Thank You for their sponsorship. Sponsors can pass them out at their retail location or to their employees.
4. Leave a stack of Calendars at Running Stores, Sport Shops, Gyms, Convenience Stores, etc. to promote your race.
5. Add a coupon(s) to the Calendar with your sponsor's name and their special give-away to help promote their business as a Thank You for their sponsorship.
6. Or, use sponsorships' co-op dollars to help pay for your marketing expenses. Your Sponsors can advertise on your calendar.
7. The starting month on the Calendar will be your Race Month (or the month of your choice) so you will have a full 12 month calendar.
8. Custom design the back page for useful personal record-keeping.
9. For 365 days of the year, your race will be viewed by the recipients, and will be a reminder for your runners to sign up for the following year. You can date stamp the date when the following year sign up begins.
10. Versatile styles, colors, formats and designs are available!

Calendars – A Great Way to Promote Your Race

Meaning: A calendar serves as a point of reference viewed countless times a day. It says something about us when we display it in our space – telling the world where we live, what we like, how we work, or what is meaningful to us.

Relevance: To cut through the clutter and reach its audience, a brand must be personally relevant. The functionality and visual appeal of a calendar gives your brand added relevance, while subtly overcoming the inevitable “tune-out” that occurs when people are bombarded with thousands of messages from every direction, in every medium.

Endorsement: The display of your calendar, by your customer, is a personal recommendation of your brand to anyone who sees it. When a person demonstrates loyalty to a brand, others may think they should buy that brand, too.

Value: Even better, the variety of calendar formats and unlimited custom design possibilities result in a high-perceived-value package for your brand’s image and message. Calendars offer a remarkably cost-effective way to keep your message in front of your audience every day of the year.

Quality DOES Make a Difference
Those flashy colorful shirts made of fancy fabric don’t just keep you looking good, they actually have several advantages over the good old-fashioned T-shirt.

Performance shirts designed specifically for running are generally composed of a blend of Lycra and other specialty fabrics designed to wick moisture away from your skin. This high-tech fabric has major advantages over cotton. Cotton shirts tend to absorb the moisture and become heavier as you run, weighing you down and becoming sticky and uncomfortable. Wicking fabrics move the moisture away from your skin and dry quickly. Because the moisture isn't against your skin you will stay cooler in the heat and warmer in cold weather. This results in less irritation for sensitive skin.

These shirts not only keep you dry and comfortable, they are thin and light-weight. Even if you layer two or three shirts to stay warm, they won’t feel bulky. Some running shirts may have additional features, like reflective bands of material to help keep you visible at dusk or dawn, thumb loops to act like a glove when running in cold weather, and even ultraviolet ray protection.

Although these high-quality shirts may cost a little more up front, rest assured they will last for years, making them a much better investment that will keep you dry and comfortable as you run for the gold.
